Description:
The purpose of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of the ability to detect changes in the temporal patterns of sounds across different age groups. This is an in-person study in Elliott Hall, Room N625. (Take the north elevator to the 6th floor and turn right when you exit) . You will be seated in a sound booth and wear headphones. This study consists of 3-4 visits of 2-hour-long sessions (Total commitment ~7 hours, including breaks). Individuals will be awarded cash ($30/session) or a mix of REP points and cash: 10 REP (first 2 sessions) and $30 per session for the remaining 1-2 sessions.
