Description:

CASH ONLY. The purpose of this study is to better understand and develop strategies to prevent and treat the hearing difficulties that may occur secondary to blast exposure in service members (SMs). In the study, participants will be asked to complete a series of short tests involving questionnaires, hearing and vision tests, cognitive assessments, and speech recognition tasks. The study will require a single in-person visit to the research lab (average completion time is 1 hour 45 minutes). Compensation is $30. Age requirement is greater than 18 years. Must be a native American English speaker.
