Description:
Black Womanhood and Well-Being Study You are invited to be in a research study about Black womanhood and the mental well-being of Black, African, and Caribbean women. You were selected as a possible participant because you identify as a Black, African, and/or Caribbean woman, are at least 18 years old, are fluent in English, and live in the United States. We ask that you read this form and ask any questions you may have before agreeing to be in the study. This study is being conducted by: Richard Lee, Ph.D. and Vanessa Anyanso, M.A., Psychology Department, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Activities: If you agree to be in this study, we would ask you to do the following things: You would complete a survey that is expected to take around 30-35 minutes to complete. The survey will ask about your basic demographics, your mental and social well-being, and your identity. This survey contains both scale and open-ended response items.
