This study is looking at mental health and stress in individuals who identify as a sexual and/or gender minority. This is a hybrid study with two sessions over Zoom and one in-person at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain (2025 E River Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55414).
Participation involves:
The first Zoom visit is one hour. In it, participants would review the consent form, complete questionnaires, and write two short paragraphs.
The second Zoom visit is 1.5 hours, and includes speech and arithmetic tasks as well as taking saliva samples using a provided kit.
The third visit is an MRI scan at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain, which is followed by a few final surveys and tasks.
